Furth an der Triesting

Furth lies in the middle of meadows in a valley basin where several streams join together to flow towards the Triesting on the northern edge of the municipality. Furth can boast two superlatives: At 64 km², it is the largest municipality in the Triesting Valley, which also has the closest mountain to Vienna, the Hocheck, over 1,000 m high on its municipal territory. The location of the cider village a little away from the main valley in the midst of a rural idyll is ideal for overnight stays.
