In the heart of the southern Vienna Woods is the Höldrichsmühle, where once Franz Schubert was inspired to compose his world-famous song "Der Lindenbaum". The romantic Höldrichsmühle also served as a backdrop for pictures by F.G. Waldmüller. Today you can enjoy a Schubert poppy-seed cake or the famous "Millirahmstrudel" with warm vanilla sauce under Schubert's lime tree.
Open daily, warm meals served all day.
For horse lovers, the Höldrichsmühle offers guided rides, riding lessons and vaulting on its school horses.
