jubilee observation point at Berndorf

The 34-metre-high Jubiläumswarte was built in 1990/91, opened on 31 August 1991 and finally renamed Franz-Bichler-Warte in 2006 in honor of the long-time chairman of the "Waldhütte Guglzipf-Berndorf" association. The observation tower was a listed building until 2016. The 34-metre-high Jubiläumswarte on Berndorf's local mountain GUGLZIPF offers a fantastic panoramic view of the Triestingtal valley. The tower is open all year round and can be reached via easy hiking trails directly from the center of Berndorf. A forest road also leads to the lookout tower and the Guglzipf forest hut invites you to enjoy a cozy snack.
