Himberg

Description

The 47.6 square kilometer area of the market town of Himberg, consisting of the districts of Himberg, Gutenhof, Pellendorf and Velm, is located in the northern part of the Vienna Basin. The name Himberg was first mentioned in a document in 1120 and can be traced back to the early lords of Hintperg, whose coat of arms was adorned with a leaping deer. In keeping with the changing times, Himberg today presents itself as a modern municipality and offers its 6,500 inhabitants an excellent infrastructure.
