Moosbrunn

The village of Moosbrunn is located in the northern Vienna Basin, about 20 km south-east of the federal capital Vienna, on the Piesting River at an altitude of 191 m above sea level at the intersection of the main road from Himberg towards Unterwaltersdorf and the main road from Trumau towards Gramatneusiedl - Fischamend. The place name Moosbrunn refers to the largely boggy ground in the area of the Mitterndorf depression.
