Pecherlehrpfad at Hernstein
Description
The Pecher nature trail was created in 1989 in the beautiful pine forest Am Hart, where the work of the former Pecher can be studied on living trees during a leisurely and barrier-free walk through the open countryside. The nature trail is complemented by the architecturally modern Vinzenz Chapel, which also offers a haven of peace and contemplation and invites visitors to linger.
The nature trail can be walked at any time. The tour takes about 20 to 30 minutes. We are also happy to offer a guided tour. To make an appointment, please contact the municipal office (02633 / 47205). The Pecher nature trail on the Hart shows the work of the pitcher in 7 well-labeled stations. In 2002, an interesting St. Vincent's Chapel was built on the nature trail. St. George's Chapel on the Guglzipf: Built in 1983 by the scouts.
The efforts to preserve the Pecherei in Lower Austria were also recognized by UNESCO in 2011 and "The Pecherei in Lower Austria" was declared an intangible cultural heritage.
