Description
The fact that Andreas Schafler is a modern-thinking winemaker is evident from the wine tavern in the middle of Traiskirchen, which is a prime example of a contemporary interpretation of a wine tavern.
A very extensive range of wines is served here, which can also be sampled on tasting boards. In addition to Heurigen classics such as Surschnitzel and Backhenderl, the menu mainly features regional and seasonal dishes. A succulent suckling pig is also roasted every Wednesday when the restaurant is open.
The Schaflerhof adds variety to the Heurigen calendar with events such as Martini-Gansl dinners, Christmas brunches and young wine tastings. A special meeting place is the wine lounge in the Schaflerhof, which is ideal for all kinds of festivities or seminars.
