Stalactite cave of Alland

Description

An unforgettable experience for children from 4 years and also adults!

The Allander stalactite cave lies in the 476m high Buchberg and has been declared a natural monument. The cave is 70m long and 12m deep. It has by far the richest stalactite adornment among all the caves in the Vienna Woods: You can see water cavities, leaching niches, pearl sinter, mountain milk and  tubular stalactite. In addition to beautiful sinter formations, the skeleton of a 10,000-year-old bear is also on display.

The stalactite cave is equipped with a modern lighting system and multimedia components. This year again, you can discover completely new sides of the cave and savour the multimedial impressions.

We are looking forward to your visit!
