Tattendorf
Description
The wine-growing village of Tattendorf is located south-east of the spa town of Baden in the Thermenregion. Viticulture has been practiced here since 1256. The red wine vines in particular thrive in the dry, limestone-rich alluvial soil and have thus established the excellent reputation of Tattendorf's red wine. Idyllic walks can be enjoyed on the Marienwanderweg, the St. Laurent Wein-Wanderweg or through the Triesting-Au. Cyclists can take the Triesting-Au cycle path and the Euro-Velo.
