Traiskirchen

The wine village of Traiskirchen is located in the southern Thermenregion Vienna Woods and is home to the oldest observatory in Lower Austria, the Franz Kroller Observatory. The Traiskirchen Town Museum is housed in the listed building of the Möllersdorf branch of the former Vöslau worsted yarn factory and displays extensive collections. Other sights include Tribuswinkel Castle, the parish church of St. Margaretha, the Urbanus Chapel and the plague column on the main square.
