Description
Berndorf's local mountain, the Guglzipf (472m), with its observation tower, inviting inn and great leisure facilities, is well known far beyond the Triestingtal valley and is one of the region's most popular excursion destinations.

The observation tower is one of the most beautiful in Lower Austria and has a unique tower room at the very top for special receptions. The large playing field with accessories and benches is also suitable for larger soccer matches. The children's playground
If you want to enjoy nature, take a leisurely walk up the nature trail past the Krupp Temple and occasionally let your gaze wander over the town of Berndorf.
If you don't have that much time, you can reach the Guglzipf comfortably by car on the forest road from Berndorf via Kleinfeld and enjoy a hearty snack with a wonderful view. The last 2 km from Kleinfeld are not asphalted, but can be driven on by normal vehicles.
The forest road through the beautiful black pine forest is well maintained.
Once at the top, the viewing terrace awaits visitors with a great view over Berndorf. The Guglzipf is also becoming an increasingly popular excursion destination for tour groups. For interested groups or school classes there are
guided hikes along the forest nature trail.
