Our winery has a long winegrowing tradition. Founded in 1790, many generations have dedicated themselves to the production of wine.
Our winery is still run as a family business.
Starting with short pruning, through ecologically conscious vineyard management throughout the year, to the optimum time for harvesting, the aim is to ensure excellent grape ripeness.
Careful cellar technology guarantees products that are typical of the variety, location and vintage. The assortment ranges from sparkling wines to full-bodied Auslese.
Depending on the location, our vineyards are mainly planted with Neuburger, Rotgipfler, Rheinriesling, Zierfandler and Traminer. Blauer Portugieser and Blauer Burgunder have proven themselves as red wine varieties.
At our typical wine tavern we can also spoil you with many homemade delicacies from our buffet in a cozy atmosphere.
In addition to our quality wines, we have also been producing sparkling wines, brandies, vermouths and liqueurs exclusively from our own grapes, which are characteristic of our wine-growing region, for some time now.
As we consider quality to be the most important goal, we pay just as much attention to the ripeness of the grapes, the must weight and the acidity. An appropriate storage period in well-tempered cellars results in round, harmonious products for both the wines and the sparkling wine.
