Our wine tavern is a veteran of the Gumpoldskirchen wine tavern scene and is located in the heart of our beautiful wine village. After the complete renovation in 2016, the entire restaurant exudes a real feel-good atmosphere. For example, there is space in the old press house with its huge tree press or in the typical local courtyard as well as in the well-tended natural garden under shady walnut and maple trees. In our garden there is also a small, easily manageable playground for our younger visitors.

For the traditional Heurigen buffet with home-made hot and cold dishes, we cook elaborately: cabbage strudel, quiche with vegetables and roast beef are just a few of the highlights. Some Belgian specialties hint at the ancestry of Christian Schabl's mother. In addition to the "house variety", the Welschriesling, and other wines typical of the region, there are also specialties such as rosé sparkling wine and Belgian beer.

Enjoy a glass (or several) of our quality wines with us. We also have an excellent alternative for drivers and anyone who likes it unfermented, with refreshing grape juice.

We have opened our wine tavern for you mostly in the months with odd numbers (January, March, May...).
