Weingut Familie Knötzl

Description

The quality of the wine is created in the vineyard - careful handling of the soil, vines and grapes as well as sustainable cultivation of the vineyards form the basis for characterful and high-quality wines.

The buffet includes a varied selection of homemade specialties, including traditional sausage and meat products as well as other regional delicacies. The meat products used come from controlled sources and are selected with particular attention to quality and animal husbandry. The range is complemented by a wide selection of pastries. One particular specialty is a traditional pastry that has been made according to a tried and tested recipe for generations.

The winery covers around 4.5 hectares of vineyards. Red wine accounts for around 70% of production. The most important grape variety is the typical regional St. Laurent. The range is supplemented by Pinot Noir, Zweigelt and Blauer Portugieser. Around 30% of the vineyards are planted with white wine varieties. The most important variety is Neuburger, which achieves a high level of quality in this region. Chardonnay, Rheinriesling and Gelber Muskateller complete the range of white wines.
