In the middle of the red wine landscape of the Thermenregion Vienna Woods in Sooß, the Plos family, now in its third generation, cultivates some of the most sought-after vineyards in this well-known and popular wine village. The Plos winery has a long family tradition in Sooß. Karl Plos cultivates 10 hectares of vineyards in the most sought-after Sooß vineyards. Only hand-picked grapes are harvested and processed in Sooß. With painstaking manual work and a focus on typicity, finely polished, straightforward red wines with high ageing potential are produced. The Zweigelt variety plays a special role here and produces exceptional results year after year on the interspersed shell limestone soils. For the white wines, great value is placed on the variety of the Heurigen culture: the focus is increasingly on the atypical Gemischter Satz. The style of the wines, shaped by Karl Plos and his nephew Daniel Plos, is perfectly complemented by Maria Plos' Heurigen cuisine and invites you to enjoy a good "Acht'l" in a cozy atmosphere at the end of the day.
