Weingut Zierer

The Zierer winery has been in Gumpoldskirchen since 1790 and has its roots at Badenerstraße 6. There is still an old wine cellar in this old Haurerhaus, which was used by the father until the late 1960s. In the early 1930s, the great-grandfather ran a wine tavern in this house that was quite rustic by today's standards - the wine was poured directly from the barrels into jugs and guests had to bring their own food.

In 1968, a modern building for the time was put into operation. The winery is located on the outskirts of Gumpoldskirchen, directly in the vineyards. This is also where the "Ab Hof" wine shop is located, where wines can also be tasted.

Through a further acquisition in 2011, the entire grape processing was carried out in the new extension and the red wine production was modernized - temperature-controlled fermentation tanks ensure high-quality processing. Space was also created for our own small barrique cellar.
