The WeinWanderWeg Gumpoldskirchen is surrounded by lush greenery, idyllic nature and beautiful vineyards. Gumpoldskirchen is one of the better-known wine-growing regions in Austria and is located around 30 kilometers south of Vienna. Route description Wine Hiking Path Gumpoldskirchen

The start is located opposite the parish church St. Michael in the vineyards, where the welcome board is also located. We follow the wine educational path until we stop in front of the fourth sign, which provides information about the winemaking years. Then continue to the right uphill towards the climbing wall Gumpoldskirchen. At the next intersection, we turn right again. We follow this path, crossing the Gumpoldskirchen Way of the Cross and continue until we stop. Then we turn right, go down a bit, and turn right again uphill to the vineyards. We follow these down until we discover the sign Music, Poetry, and Painting. Then continue right, down a narrow stone stairway. In the forest among trees, we continue until we reach the Gumpoldskirchen Way of the Cross and turn left to return to the starting point.

Parking

A free parking opportunity is located opposite the Hotel Turmhof as well as on Badener Straße.
