We are the perfect place to recharge your batteries after a busy day. From traditional cuisine to cozy rooms to relax in, we offer you everything you need for a perfect rest.

Our family-run business has been taking care of your wishes since 1842. Currently 3 generations are serving you.

You can enjoy Emmi Lechner's down-to-earth specialty cuisine in the cosy dining room, the parlour or the large, bright hall. She is the enthusiastic landlady who has turned her hobby into a vocation and enjoys the country inn existence to the full.

In our traditional cuisine, we attach great importance to working with seasonal products from the region. Let us surprise you with wild garlic and asparagus dishes in the spring months. During the summer months you can enjoy the light Voralpen cheese from the famous Waldviertel cheese makers. To ensure that you can also enjoy the Landhaus cuisine on autumn days, we are always supplied with venison by our landlord and hunter, Andreas Lechner.

Up to 30 pilgrims can spend the night in the "Bruthenne". The great variety at the breakfast buffet is much appreciated by our guests.

Several times a year, our chef finds the time to prepare homemade elderflower and lemon balm juice, which is much loved by our guests. She also prepares spicy wild garlic pesto and aromatic venison and deer sauces for our guests to take away.

By the way: The "Bruthenne" owes its name to the ancient, protected black pine tree near the house. The tree spreads out like a brood hen and used to protect the small pines growing underneath.

Andreas Lechner is at your disposal as a Via Sacra expert. He likes to take his time out in the surrounding woods.

We are open for you all year round. We take a weekly break on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday. We also recharge our batteries on Mondays from 14:00 to 17:00. For room guests, our restaurant is also open on a day off.
