Traiskirchen City Museum

Description

One thing's for sure: The Traiskirchen Museum is worth visiting several times!

In the building of the former worsted spinning mill, you can still see the flair of the industrial age and a lot of sights worth seeing from the everyday life of bygone times. Old shops and workshops are lined up in the row of shops. You almost feel the atmosphere of the olden times as you embark upon this journey through time. In the toy collection, everything revolves and moves around Matador, the popular wooden construction kit. In the fire-brigade museum, you cannot help but marvel at the old devices and vehicles. The Wiener Neustädter Canal was an important transport route - in the museum you can see a model of a canal barge in its original size.
